Healthy Food for Healthy Skin

It is amazing how much time and money we spend on cosmetics products and skin treatments to get that beautiful, flawless skin. It is not as difficult as it looks to get that stunning, glowing face. We all know that we need to eat healthy food to remain physically fit. The same rule goes with skin. The key to healthy skin is healthy food. You just need to follow a great skin care regime and follow a good nutritious diet and your skin will look younger and radiant like never before.

You must include green vegetables, fresh fruits, grains, juices and salad in your diet. Eat fresh citrus fruits like oranges as these are rich in vitamin C that help existing pimples heal faster. These also prevent constipation and work as cleansers.

Stay away from oily, fatty food. Avoid smoking and alcohol. Reduce intake of caffeine, soda from your diet. Cut down on salty foods as it makes your face look bloated.

If you are anemic, beetroot can do wonders to your skin. It purifies your blood and your skin look fresh and glowing.

Drink lemon juice mixed with warm water and honey at least twice a day. If you want to reduce weight, drink it with empty stomach in the morning. It also helps you get that clear, flawless complexion.
